Non-Residential Prescriptive Rebate Program

Dominion Energy Virginia’s Non-Residential Prescriptive Program provides rebates for energy efficiency improvements made in your facility. Some of the available measures include duct testing and sealing, HVAC system tune-up, refrigeration system and commercial kitchen appliances upgrades.

The energy efficient improvements offer many benefits including:

  • Properly sealed duct and air distribution system can eliminate hot and cold spots in your facility
  • Efficient heating and cooling systems can provide a more comfortable environment for your employees and customers
  • Efficient refrigeration system and kitchen appliances can reduce energy use and save you money in the long run

Rebate Measures

Receive rebates for installing a variety of energy efficient products including evaporator fans, night covers, strip curtains and door gaskets for your refrigeration systems, and ENERGY STAR® commercial kitchen appliances such as electric fryers, griddles, convection ovens and steam cookers.

Eligibility

This program is open to Dominion Energy Virginia non-residential customers who are not exempt by statute, not under special contract, have not elected to opt-out of paying the DSM rider, are responsible for the electric bill, and are the owner of the facility or reasonably able to secure permission to complete measures.

Rebate Details

Qualifying non-residential customers in Virginia will receive a rebate based on the measures they install. Click here to view the rebate incentives offered for each measure in the Prescriptive Program.

Please allow up to 90 days from the date all required information is received to process your rebate. Payment will be issued to the account holder and mailing address on record with Dominion Energy – unless the customer has authorized the rebate to be paid to the contractor.

It is the responsibility of the customer to assure that all requirements for the rebate are met. Failure to provide any of the required information will delay processing of your application and could result in non-payment.
