ENERGY STAR certified commercial equipment helps businesses like restaurants, offices, and institutional kitchens save energy by cutting utility and maintenance costs without sacrificing features, quality, or style.
Program Notice
Your business could benefit from offering energy-efficient appliances and systems (as a participating contractor) or ENERGY STAR certified equipment (as a commercial customer).
From ENERGY STAR foodservice appliances to increased-efficiency HVAC units, upgrading to ENERGY STAR rated products offers a host of benefits to business owners and their customers.
Distributors can apply to participate in Dominion Energy’s Energy Conservation EE Midstream program: unlocking benefits including an expanded client base, financial incentives, and more.
Example of Energy-Efficient Products for Businesses
- Commercial Refrigerators and Freezers - Models that have earned the ENERGY STAR designation are on average 20% more energy-efficient than standard models.
- Commercial Convection Ovens and Freezers - Commercial oven models that have earned the ENERGY STAR designation are on average 20% more energy-efficient than standard models.
- Commercial Griddles - Models that have earned the ENERGY STAR designation are on average 11% more energy-efficient than standard models.
- HVAC Units - Models that have earned the ENERGY STAR designation are on average 20% more energy-efficient than standard models
- Commercial Dishwashers - Models that have earned the ENERGY STAR designation are on average 12% more energy-efficient and 20% more water-efficient than standard models.
- Icemakers - Models that have earned the ENERGY STAR designation are on average 10% more energy-efficient and 20% more water-efficient than standard models.
