Program Details

Dominion Energy North Carolina’s Non-Residential Office Program provides rebates for recommissioning improvements made to your office’s energy management system. Some of the available measures include:

  • Lighting systems and HVAC equipment scheduling
  • Night temperature setback
  • Chiller condenser temperature reset
  • Discharge air temperature reset
  • Static pressure reset
  • Dual enthalpy economizer control
  • Reduce VAV box minimum position

  • Facility assessment and measure installs that reduce energy use scheduled at your convenience
  • More effective use of your facility’s energy management system, providing a comfortable environment for employees and customers
  • Financial incentives that help to offset cost for installing the recommended improvements

Participation is Easy

  • Search and contact a local, participating contractor.
  • Complete and submit the Customer Eligibility Form to verify your eligibility for program participation.
  • Have your contractor complete the initial assessment to reserve rebate funding with our program representative. You may choose to perform an optional audit prior to project installation if you need assistance identifying measures for your facility.
  • Install qualifying recommissioning measures.
  • Have your contractor submit the rebate packet on your behalf.

Participation Requirements

You must be a Dominion Energy North Carolina non-residential customer who:

  • Is not exempt by statute or not under special contract
  • Is responsible for the electric bill
  • Is the owner of the facility or is reasonably able to secure permission to complete installation of measures

Please review additional requirements through the Program’s Terms and Conditions. By participating in this program, you are signifying your agreement to the Terms and Conditions of the Non-Residential Office Program.

Rebate Details

Please allow up to 90 days from the date all required information is received to process your rebate. Payment will be issued to the account holder and mailing address on record with Dominion Energy – unless the customer has authorized the rebate to be paid to the contractor.

It is the responsibility of the customer to assure that all requirements for the rebate are met. Failure to provide any of the required information will delay processing of your application and could result in non-payment.

Upon submission of your rebate, an email will be sent to the email address provided on the rebate form confirming the rebate has been submitted for processing. If you have questions, please call 1-888-366-8280.

Note: A rebate packet containing the Rebate Application will be sent to you once your Initial Assessment and project scope have been reviewed and confirmed.
